The POM bottle strikes with Warli art
Warli art is a tribal art form from India that is said to have originated in the state of Maharashtra, and mainly uses geometric shapes - circle, square, and triangle. It doesn't use elaborate colors or schemes like some of the other folk/tribal art forms in India. And it looks like it bears similarities to the tribal art in New Mexico.
My main draw to Warli drawing is that I do not have to draw faces (you would not want to see me drawing eyes and noses - trust me) and so it seemed like I can get away with my lack of skill when it comes to art ;-)
And so it is that the cute shaped POM juice bottle ended up as a pot again, this time with my attempt at Warli art.
